Daily Quote-May 8th 2010

The best way to learn is from experience.  There is no doubt about that.  We learn from what we do.  If we fall, we find  that we learn from it.  May 8th’s quote of the day is one by Yogi Berra which I seem to use quite a bit.

“90 percent of the game is half mental”  ~Yogi Berra

People need to realize that this can be related to just about everything.  People naturally get scared.  We sometimes try to analyze things down to a tee.  If you don’t, then I applaud your abilities.  I happen to be going back and forth between places.

I overanalyze thiongs to a tee, and they dont work out.  However, when I just play it by ear, everything seems to work out.  So in reality, the ten percent of the mind that acts on impulse is two hundred percent smarter than the other part.

The Title

The point of this blog was to be a baseball blog.  Then I realized I didn’t want that.  However, Back to the Minors is a goo dname for a blog about my ideas.  They bring back things that you never thought you would need again.

I dont mean like old math work from Geometry class, rather life experiences.
